Welcome to our blog! I have been meaning to put this together since we started Andy's adoption process over two years ago and today I finally decided to stop procrastinating and just do it. Chris & I have been so fortunate to have friends and family all over the country supporting us through the ups and downs of becoming parents. We hope this gives us a way to share all the fun we are having with Andy and also keep everyone updated on our plans to add to our family...
Speaking of adding to our family, you can obviously see from this blog that we have decided to adopt a baby from South Korea. Many of you are already aware that we started the process again, but we've held off on making an "official" announcement until we had a better idea of when we can expect to receive a referral. We have been on the wait list since October of 2007 and we are currently waiting for the state to approve our homestudy. Then we will forward it on for federal approval. Right now it looks like we will receive a referral in late fall or early winter of this year & have our baby home with us within a year...though as we learned the 1st time around, nothing is guaranteed!
We are so excited to become parents again and to make Andy a big brother. Check back soon for the latest Andy adventures and news on our adoption!

This is an awesome idea! How exciting.
I've been sad that I missed out on alot of events - having moved to Indiana and then Minnesota! It is good to heart that things are going well and you will soon have a new addition!!!

wow! my mom sent this to me over myspace and i imidiatly read it! at first i thought it was following Andy as he grows, but when i got to the last paragreaph i read "Were so excited to become parents again and make Andy a big brother." i got done with the paragraph and i re-read it and got so excited! im so happy to have another addition to our family!
